Any contractor we refer you to will provide their California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) license number directly to you before any work begins. Under California law, work totaling less than $500 in labor and materials may qualify for the CSLB "handyman" exemption and may be performed by an unlicensed person who discloses that they are not licensed — always confirm license status and get this in writing before authorizing any work.
